The market share of electric passenger cars of new registered vehicles in Flanders (Belgium) increased annually between 2010 and 2019. In 2010, 0.01 percent of the new registered passenger cars were electric vehicles, whereas by 2018 it increased to roughly 0.8 percent. As of 2019, it increased significantly to a market share of 1.83 percent.
