In 2025, Colombia ranked first by percentage of income held by the richest 20 percent of the population among the 22 countries presented in the ranking. Colombia's percentage of income held amounted to 58.90 percent, while Brazil and Panama, the second and third countries, had records amounting to 55.40 percent and 54.30 percent, respectively.
