Sales of organic egg pasta in Italy experienced an increase in terms of value between 2018 and 2019. The sales value of nidi amounted to about 1.2 million euros in the first half of 2019. Additionally, pasta for soups generated the second-largest sales value, followed by oven pasta. Other special formats of organic pasta made from egg dough had a sales value of almost 14 thousand euros, showing a growth rate of approximately 24 percent between June 2018 and June 2019.
