As of the second quarter of 2018, the average daily rate (ADR) of 5-star hotels in China's first-tier cities was *** percent higher than the three-year average rate, while the ADR of 5-star hotels in cities of other tiers were lower than the three-year average rate. The first-tier cities also host more 5-star hotels due to the high demand.
