Americans See Search Engines as Biased

Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook COO, and Jack Doresy, Twitter CEO, Wednesday. Sandberg and Doresy came before the Senate, answering questions about the moderation of online content. Doresy went on to testify before the House, which proved to be a slightly more eventful proceeding. In an instance of fighting fire with fire, Rep. Partisan content on different online platforms is a contentious issue. In an , two-thirds of Republican respondents believe search engine results are skewed to favor liberals. An equal number of Democrats believe that search engine results are not biased at all. The released a statement stating that it intends to meet with state attorney generals to discuss whether online platforms were suppressing the free exchange of ideas.
