British football fans strongly oppose 2022 Qatar World Cup

Earlier this week, FIFA announced that the 2022 World Cup, due to be held in Qatar, should take place in November and December to avoid blistering temperatures. However, British football fans are not happy about the prospect of the tournament taking place in Qatar. 79 percent of them say FIFA was wrong to choose the tiny gulf state as the event's host. Fans are more split about the prospect of a winter World Cup. 36 percent say it should be held in winter while 55 percent say it should take place during the traditional summer period.
