A strong majority of Americans think President Donald Trump鈥檚 phone call with Ukraine on July 25 was "wrong," according to a study conducted by , released November 18.

According to the new poll, 51% of Americans said the president should be impeached and removed from the White House.

There were 4% of respondents who skipped the question and 25% said the president was not wrong at all. The survey, conducted November 16 to 17, polled a national sample of 506 people. There was a margin of error of plus or minus 4.8 percentage points.

The July 25th conversation is responsible for igniting the impeachment inquiry, with Democrats claiming Trump threatened to withhold nearly $400 million in military aid from Ukraine unless they agreed to investigate Hunter Biden and former Vice President Joe Biden, one of Trump鈥檚 top political rivals in the 2020 presidential election. Trump has proclaimed his innocence, saying there was no bribery or extortion, and that the phone call was "totally perfect."
