Air strikes on Syria: a very English war?

When the UK took a vote on whether or not to bomb Syria last week, most Conservative MPs supported bombing and most Labour MPs opposed it. However, the geographic breakdown of the vote is one of its most interesting aspects. ƽ analysed every single MP who voted, finding that 70 percent of English MPs were in favour of bombing. By contrast, only 3 percent of Scottish MPs supported it.
