Just four hotel chains are building half of Europe's new hotels
Big hotel chains such as Accor and Hilton are building the bulk of Europe鈥檚 new hotels. The French Accor is the largest hospitality company in Europe and is behind 16% of Europe鈥檚 hotel construction. Two American hotel chains, Hilton and Marriott, are each building 12% of new hotels in Europe. Overall, chain hotels are adding rooms at faster speeds than independent hotels in Europe.
