Does Silicon Valley Have a Diversity Problem?

Even though Silicon Valley’s giants make efforts and take measures to market themselves as inclusive employers, they do struggle to give all the industry’s minorities equal chances. Whilst the rate of female tech workers in the U.S. companies is steadily increasing, the same cannot be said when it comes to race. Even though more than 12 percent of the U.S. population is black, only 3 percent of Silicon Valley’s workforce is of African descent.
