The 2020 US Presidential election is one of the most important in decades - not just for Americans but also for its trading partners.

As our ƽ chart shows, when it comes to overall trade with the United States, Mexico and Canada are nearly are on par, according to the latest figures of the . Nearly a third of America’s exported goods was in fact delivered to trade partners Canada and Mexico while China ended up in the third place in overall trade (13.8%). However, China remains America's most important trading partner when it comes to imports, beating Canada and Mexico by a large margin.
